Arrival & Tarangire National Park
Tarangire
You'll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha at 7:30 AM and drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2 hours). Enjoy a full day game drive in Tarangire, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Tarangire is home to over 3,000 elephants and 550 bird species. The Tarangire River attracts wildlife year-round, making it an excellent location for wildlife viewing. Look out for lions, leopards, cheetahs, and the rare fringe-eared oryx.

Journey To Ndutu Region
Ngorongoro Crater | Serengeti | Tarangire
After breakfast, depart Tarangire for the Ndutu Region in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (approx. 4-5 hours drive with game viewing en route). Arrive in time for lunch at your camp. The Ndutu Region is part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem and is famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration from December to March. During this period, hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebra congregate here to calve.

Ngorongoro Crater
Full day dedicated to exploring the Ndutu Region with packed lunch. This area offers fantastic game viewing year-round, with the migration spectacle occurring from December to March. Witness the drama of the wild as predators hunt the vulnerable newborn wildebeest calves. The short grass plains provide excellent visibility for spotting wildlife. Cheetahs are commonly seen in this area, using termite mounds as observation points.

After breakfast, drive to Central Serengeti (approx. 3-4 hours with game viewing en route). Enter Serengeti National Park through the Naabi Hill Gate and continue to your camp in the central Seronera region. The Serengeti is Tanzania's oldest and most famous national park, known for its vast plains and incredible wildlife concentrations. The central region has year-round resident wildlife, including all of the Big Five.

Full day of game drives in Central Serengeti with packed lunch. Explore different areas including the Seronera River Valley, Maasai Kopjes, and Retima Hippo Pool. The riverine forests along the Seronera River attract elephants, buffalos, and numerous bird species.

Morning game drive in Serengeti as you make your way to the exit gate. Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area (approx. 3-4 hours) with picnic lunch en route. Arrive at Ngorongoro Crater rim in the afternoon and check into your lodge with stunning views over the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's most spectacular natural wonders.

Early morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive with picnic lunch. The crater is home to approximately 30,000 animals including the rare black rhino, large prides of lions, and thousands of wildebeest and zebra. After your crater exploration, ascend the crater rim and begin your journey back to Arusha (approx. 4 hours). You'll be dropped off at your hotel in Arusha or transferred directly to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight.
