Safari summary
Mount Kenya is an extinct, glacier covered volcano straddling the equator. At 5,199m (17,057 ft), it is the second highest mountain in Africa behind Kilimanjaro. Our goal is Point Lenana, Mount Kenya's third-highest peak at 4,985m (16,355 ft). It can be climbed by anyone in good physical condition without any technical training or specialized equipment. We will use the Sirimon route to ascend the mountain and descend via the Naro Moru route. The Sirimon Route is preferred by most climber as it offers a gentler approach to the main peaks.
