Itinerary

Arrival in Uganda

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in and relaxation. If your arrival time allows, proceed to Mabamba Swamp for an evening shoebill tracking experience by canoe through papyrus channels. This excursion offers a chance to spot the rare shoebill stork along with other wetland birds. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay near Lake Victoria.

Transfer to Kibale

Kibale

After breakfast, depart Entebbe and journey west to Kibale Forest National Park, known as the primate capital of the world. The scenic drive takes you through lush countryside, tea plantations, and traditional villages. Arrive in the afternoon or evening, check in at your lodge, and relax as you prepare for the next day’s primate adventure.

Chimpanzee Trekking

Kibale

Start your day with a briefing before heading into Kibale Forest for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience. Track a habituated chimpanzee family and spend time observing their natural behaviors. After lunch, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying scenic views of the Rwenzori Mountains and crater lakes. Arrive in the evening, check in, and relax.

Game Drive & Boat cruise

Queen Elizabeth

Begin the day with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, where you may spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and a variety of birdlife. After lunch, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, famous for its dense populations of hippos, crocodiles, and water birds along the shores. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Ishasha Sector

Queen Elizabeth

After breakfast, transfer to the Ishasha Sector, known for its unique tree-climbing lions. Arrive in the afternoon and head out for an evening game drive, searching for lions resting in fig trees as well as elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes. Overnight stay in Ishasha.

Transfer to Bwindi

Bwindi Impenetrable

After breakfast, continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorillas. The drive offers scenic views of terraced hills and rural communities. Arrive in the afternoon, check in at your lodge, and relax in preparation for the gorilla trekking experience.

Gorilla Trekking & Lake Bunyonyi

Bwindi Impenetrable

Today is the highlight of your safari—gorilla trekking in Bwindi. After a briefing, trek through dense forest to locate a gorilla family and spend an unforgettable hour observing them. After the trek, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa’s most scenic lakes. Relax at your lakeside lodge and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Morning Boat Cruise & Transfer

Enjoy a relaxing morning boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi, exploring its beautiful islands and calm waters. Afterward, begin your journey back to Entebbe with a stop at the Equator for photos and souvenirs. Arrive in the evening and check in at your hotel near Lake Victoria.

Departure

After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, relax at your hotel or enjoy a short optional activity. You will then be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Uganda safari.
