Transfer to Kibale

Kibale

After breakfast, depart to Kibale Forest National Park, renowned for its primate diversity, including chimpanzees. Enjoy scenic landscapes of rolling hills, tea plantations, and rural villages along the way. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and relax before heading out for an evening nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. Explore the swamp’s boardwalks and trails with a local guide, spotting birds, primates, and other wildlife while learning about community conservation efforts.

Chimpanzee trekking

Kibale

Begin your day early with a chimpanzee tracking adventure in the lush Kibale Forest National Park. After a briefing from park rangers, trek through the forest to locate a habituated chimpanzee family. Spend an unforgettable hour observing their natural behaviors, including feeding, playing, grooming, and interacting with one another. After the trek, enjoy lunch before beginning your scenic transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Game drive & Afternoon Boat cruise

Queen Elizabeth

Start your day with an early morning game drive across the Kasenyi plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is the perfect time to spot wildlife as animals are most active. Look out for elephants, lions, buffaloes, hyenas, antelopes, and a variety of bird species. After a mid-day break, embark on a scenic afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which links Lake George and Lake Edward.

Transfer to Bwindi

Bwindi Impenetrable

After breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth National Park and journey south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. The scenic drive passes through rolling hills, terraced farmland, and vibrant local villages, offering beautiful photo opportunities along the way. Upon arrival in Bwindi, check in at your lodge and take time to relax, preparing for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure.

Gorilla trekking

Bwindi Impenetrable

Begin your day early with the highlight of your safari: gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After a briefing from the rangers, trek through the dense forest in search of a habituated gorilla family. Spend an unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat, witnessing feeding, grooming, and playful interactions. After the trek, enjoy lunch before transferring to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa’s most scenic lakes.

Transfer back to Kampala

After breakfast, begin your scenic drive from Lake Bunyonyi back to Kampala or Entebbe. Enjoy the rolling hills, terraced farmlands, and charming villages along the way, with opportunities for photos and short stops. Arrive in Kampala or Entebbe in the afternoon or evening, where you will be dropped off at your hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.

Departure

After breakfast, enjoy your final moments in Uganda before your transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight. Depending on your schedule, you may have time for a brief stop at local markets or shops to pick up souvenirs. This marks the end of your incredible East African safari, filled with unforgettable wildlife encounters, breathtaking landscapes, and rich cultural experiences. We wish you a safe journey home and hope to welcome you again for more adventures in Uganda.
