Dar Es Salaam to Mikumi NP

Pickup from your hotel in Dar es Salaam at 0600 hrs and drive to Mikumi National Park by 4x4 safari jeep (approx. 4 hours). Stop for lunch in Morogoro before entering the park. Enjoy an afternoon game drive with chances to see elephants, giraffes, lions, antelopes, and more. Mikumi offers excellent wildlife viewing in a short time with minimal driving.

Mikumi
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park. Wildlife is visible from the entrance, including baboons, zebras, and impalas. Spot the unique Mikumi giraffes and easily seen lions. Visit the hippo pool in the afternoon for great views, then explore Mkata Plains for buffalo and elephants near waterholes before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
