Arrival in Uganda

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional guide from Openbill Safaris Uganda and transferred to your hotel in Entebbe.

Fly to Bwindi

Bwindi Impenetrable

After breakfast, transfer to Entebbe International Airport for a scenic domestic flight to southwestern Uganda. You will fly to either Kihihi Airstrip or Kisoro Airstrip, both serving Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The flight offers breathtaking aerial views of Uganda’s forests, lakes, and rolling hills. Upon arrival, your safari guide will transfer you to your lodge near the park for relaxation and preparation for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Bwindi Impenetrable

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Guided by experienced trackers and rangers, you will trek through dense rainforest searching for a habituated gorilla family. Once the gorillas are found, you will spend one magical hour observing and photographing them as they interact, feed, and care for their young.

Road Transfer to Ishasha Sector

After breakfast, depart by road for the famous Ishasha Sector. This remote sector of the park is best known for its tree-climbing lions, which are often seen resting in large fig trees. Transfer to Kasenyi Plains

Fly Back to Entebbe
