Transfer to Bwindi

Bwindi Impenetrable

Early morning pick-up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. Begin your journey to southwestern Uganda, passing through scenic countryside landscapes, rolling hills, and traditional villages. Enjoy lunch in Mbarara before continuing toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Arrive in the late afternoon or evening and check in at your lodge near the Rushaga sector.

Gorilla Habituation Experience

Bwindi Impenetrable

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You will then begin the gorilla habituation experience accompanied by researchers and experienced trackers. The trek can take several hours depending on the gorillas’ location. Once found, you will spend up to four hours observing and learning about the gorillas as researchers guide them through the habituation process. Return to the lodge in the afternoon for relaxation.

Return to Kampala

Bwindi Impenetrable
