Itinerary

Day 1

Lake Nakuru | Nairobi

Day 1: Nairobi/Lake Nakuru In the morning you will either be picked from your hotel or airport then depart from Nairobi via the Great Rift Valley where you will have a stopover to admire the scenic views of the escarpment before you continue with your journey to Lake Nakuru with game drive en route to WCK Guest house where you will have lunch then proceed for afternoon game drive in search of Rhino, waterbuck, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, lion etc before returning to WCK guest house/budget hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Lake Nakuru

Day 2: Lake Nakuru/Lake Naivasha-Hell’s gate After breakfast depart for Hell’s gate park where you will have a chance either to cycle or to walk among giraffe, Zebra, gazelles and different species of birds followed by a guided walk through the gorge before you return to budget camp for late lunch. Later you will proceed for an hour’s boat ride on Lake Naivasha where you will have a chance to see hippo and different species of birds before you return to budget camp to wait for dinner followed by overnight.

Day 3

Day 3: Lake Naivasha/Maasai mara After breakfast depart for maasai mara arriving in time for lunch at Mara Chui budget camp followed by late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Chui budget camp.

Day 4

Day 4: Maasai Mara Optional hot air balloon ride. Full day spent in search of Elephant, Zebra, Wildebeest, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion, Cheetah, Leopard and other plains game with a visit to the mara river where you might have a chance to see hippo and crocodile. All meals served and overnight at the Mara Chui budget camp.

Day 5

Nairobi

Day 5: Maasai Mara/ Nairobi Early morning game drive followed by late breakfast then with picnic lunch leave maasai mara with an optional visit to maasai cultural village en route as you depart for Narok and continue with your safari via the Great Rift Valley where you will have a stopover to admire the scenic views of the escarpment then later proceed to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at the airport for your onward connections.
