On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be welcomed by your safari guide from Mandela Safari Holidays. He will brief you about the whole Safari and after transfer you to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Samburu National Park

After a morning breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and embark on your journey to Samburu National Park located in the southern corner of Samburu district. Arrival will be on the early afternoon therefore you will check into your lodge, have lunch and relax. In the evening you will have a guided game drive through the open plains of Samburu National Park which will give you an opportunity to see wildlife like cheetahs, Masai giraffe, Hippos, plain zebra many bird species among others.

After a morning breakfast you will embark on a morning game drive in search for early risers. This park is home to variety of rare animal species that can hardly be seen in other parks of Kenya The animals to see include Grevy’s zebra, Belsa Oryx, lions, leopards, cheetahs, peticulated Giraffes, Burch ell’s Zebras and hippos and many bird species like Black capped social weaver, Vulturine and Acacia tit among others. In the afternoon you will take a lunch and embark on an afternoon game drive.

After a morning game drive you will check out of your hotel and embark on your journey to Aberdare National Park which is located in the Eastern region of the Eastern Rift Valley. You will arrive in the afternoon, have lunch and relax. In the evening you have an option to go for a guided forest walk to feel and explore the natural wilderness of Aberdare Nation al Park on Foot. From there you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Game drive and Lake Nakuru

After a morning breakfast, you will embark on your search for early risers grazing and predators hunting in Aberdare National Park. Expect to see buffaloes, lions, elephants, leopards, hippos, black Rhinos, colobus monkeys, hyenas, Baboons, Duikers among others. You will return to your hotel in the early afternoon have lunch and embark on your journey to Lake Nakuru. You will arrive in the evening where you will check into your hotel and relax

You have this full day to explore beautiful Lake Nakuru which is home to over 500 bird species including the famous greater and lesser pink flamingos, Great white Pelican, Greater blue eared Starling, grab plover, great snipe sooty falcon among others. While at Lake Nakuru National Park, feel free to take on any of the optional activities that are available for example you can do bird watching, game drive to see wild life, nature walks and camping.

Transfer to Masai Mara NP

You will have breakfast at leisure and after embark on your scenic drive to Masai Mara National Park via Kaplong and Narok City. You will have lunch on the way and arrival will be in the evening where you will check into your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After a morning breakfast, you will go a full day game drive with your packed lunch in search for wildlife in all corners of the park. While on the game drives expect to see elephants, buffalo, black rhinos, leopards, cheetahs, hyena, hippos, wildebeests, herds of zebras among others. You will also have game drives along the Mara river. If traveling in July, August, or September, you are likely to witness the migration of the wildebeest.

You will have breakfast at leisure and after go visit Masai local communities near the park. This will give you an opportunity to meet and interact with them, learn and experience their traditions, norms, beliefs and customs. These were the indigenous dwellers of Masai Mara National Park. You will also visit local markets to buy fresh fruits and crafts (bags, jewelries, shoes clothes).
