We went on a 7 day safari to Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Serengeti National Park. We flew into Kilimanjaro airport where Jackson met us and took us to the Kilimanjaro Wonders Hotel, which he had arranged ahead of time. Accommodations were excellent!
We spent the next week experiencing the most thoughtful, considerate, professional and expert African guiding that anyone could hope for. Our safari was so much beyond our expectations, and that is because of the amazing experience that Jackson provided for us. His encyclopedic knowledge of the flora, birdlife and animals across the parkscombined with his eagle eyesallowed us to see an astounding number and variety of creatures. Jackson stayed in constant radio contact with his network of guides. We saw a pride of lions devouring a freshly-killed water buffalo, crocodiles tearing up a dead hippo, leopards, cheetahs hunting, mom and baby elephants playing in mud holes, as well as thousands of other inhabitants of the parks. Jackson knows these parks like the back of his hand, every inch of them, and is willing to do whatever it takes to assure you the best experience possible. That, combined with his great sense of humor and wonderful smile, made being with him for a week an immense pleasure. Jackson selected accommodations for us in all the parks that were fantastic. The food was excellent, and the services provided both thoughtful and impeccable.
Jackson also saved us, since we had messed up our return flight. He booked us another great room in the same hotel and made a special trip to the airport the following day. When you choose to go on safari in Tanzania (or decide to climb Mount Kilimanjaro) you will never find a better organization than African Stork Tours and Safari, and certainly never a better guide than Jackson.

I had the opportunity to plan an impromptu trip (after climbing MT Kilimanjaro) with African Stork Tours for a 3-day safari. Things could not have been more seamless. The accommodations and food were great. But most importantly - our guide Jackson Joseph was terrific! It made all of the difference to have an intelligent guide that not only could find all of the "action" in the park with his eagle eyes, but could give us a sense of the Tanzanian history, people and culture.
I saw all of the big animals! A lion eating its kill - surrounded by hyenas! Hippos fighting and biting each other, and cheetahs resting in the noon day sun. Jackson even spotted a lone rhino!- I loved the explanations of the Baobab tree and the descriptions of the Masai tribe that we visited. In 3 days, we packed in a lifetime of memories and we did it with a wonderful host. Highly recommend this company I couldn't have been happier !!
