The 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser (70 Series) is the undisputed king of Tanzanian safaris. Because safaris in Tanzania often involve long road transfers between parks (e.g., driving from Arusha to Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and the Serengeti), fully enclosed, heavy-duty 4x4s are essential. Chassis & Build: Standard Land Cruisers are custom-extended by local coachbuilders to create longer wheelbases with spacious passenger cabins. Seating Configurations:7-Seater (Long Base): Features 3 rows of seats in the passenger compartment (6 seats total) plus 1 seat next to the driver-guide.5-Seater (Short Base): A slightly shorter, lighter vehicle designed for smaller private groups, featuring 4 seats in the back and 1 up front.
