Safari By Leo is a boutique, eco-conscious tour operator based in Moshi at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Co-founded by Charles and Leo—one of Northern Tanzania’s pioneer female driver-guides—we specialize in private safaris, active multi-sport adventures (cycling and walking), and authentic cultural immersion. Beyond ethical wildlife game drives across the Serengeti, Tarangire, and Ngorongoro Crater, we lead Chagga village cycling tours, crater rim walking safaris, and local school empowerment initiatives. Toyota Land Cruiser, four wheel drive, with pop up roof for game viewing. Window seats are ensured with a maximum of six passengers per vehicle. Equipped with VHF radio and portable refrigerator. Power supply for charging your electronic devices, two pairs of binoculars, bird and animal guide books and a hamper for coffee and tea are provided for your enjoyment.
The overall experience was amazing! We visited Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti National park and made the big five! Created good memories for a lifetime.

Leo and Charles were absolutely wonderful safari tour guides on our two and a half day safari tour experience! They were extremely enthusiastic and thoughtful throughout, making sure we caught great sightings of animals and that we were comfortable at all times. My friends and I really had a wonderful time all thanks to them!! I would highly recommend them to anyone who would like to visit the safari!
