Day 01: Kigali & city tour

our professional Tour guide will meet you upon your arrival at the airport (or a Kigali hotel), and take you on a guided Kigali city tour. After lunch, you will understand why our country is called ‘the Land of a Thousand Hills’ as we drive northwards through the Rwandan farm heartland to the city of Ruhengeri. Dinner is provided as you spend the night at a lodge near the park Dinner & Overnight at Mountain gorilla view lodge.

Day 02:

Volcanoes

morning enjoy breakfast at the lodge, and pack for a day in the park: water, jacket, camera, and a packed lunch. you will start at the park headquarters at 7:00 am to check in and learn about the park and different gorilla families. After a briefing together with your trekking guide, it is a brief drive to the forest trail to begin the trek. While hiking to the gorillas you will enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of the rainforest. After enjoying a majestic one-hour stay with the gorillas.

Day 03: Golden monkey trekking

Volcanoes

Today will be another early morning with breakfast at the lodge at a briefing at park headquarters at 7:00 am. Your park guide will share with you interesting facts about the monkeys and their habitat. Golden Monkey trekking may take 1-4 hours depending on the troop’s location in the forest. In the afternoon, you may go for a cultural walk to the Banyarwanda Village to experience traditional Kinyarwandan culture. Dinner and overnight stay.
