You may also opt to embark on a day trip to nearby attractions such as the Arusha National Park, which is home to Mount Meru, Tanzania's second-highest peak.
Tarangire National Park: Your next stop is Tarangire National Park, which is known for its huge herds of elephants, baobab trees and stunning landscapes. You will spend a few days exploring the park, going on game drives and spotting wildlife such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras and wildebeests.
Lake Manyara National Park: After Tarangire, you will head to Lake Manyara National Park, which is famous for its flamingoes, tree-climbing lions and diverse birdlife. You can also take a guided walk along the shores of the lake and learn about the local culture and traditions of the Maasai people.

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be picked up by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can spend the rest of the day at leisure or go on a city tour (optional).

You will depart your hotel in Arusha after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park, which is about a 2-hour drive away. On the way, you will pass through Maasai villages and see the beautiful landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. Once you arrive at the park, you will go on a game drive to explore the park's diverse habitats and wildlife. In the afternoon, you will check into your safari lodge or camp and have some time to relax before dinner

On this day you will have a full day to explore Tarangire National Park. You will go on morning and afternoon game drives to search for the park's famous elephant herds, as well as lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes and many other species. You will also have the opportunity to spot over 550 species of birds that call Tarangire home. In between game drives, you will return to your lodge or camp for meals and relaxation

After breakfast, you will depart your safari lodge or camp in Tarangire National Park and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, which is about a 2-hour drive away. Once you arrive at the park, you will go on a game drive to explore the park's diverse habitats and wildlife, including its famous tree-climbing lions. In the afternoon, you will check into your safari lodge or camp and have some time to relax before dinner

After breakfast, you will depart your safari lodge or camp in Lake Manyara National Park and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which is about a 2-hour drive away. Along the way, you will enjoy stunning views of the Great Rift Valley and the surrounding landscape. Once you arrive at the conservation area, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive, where you will have the chance to see an abundance of wildlife, including the Big Five.

On this day you will spend a full day exploring the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will start with an early morning game drive on the crater floor, followed by a visit to a Maasai village to learn about their culture and way of life. After lunch, you will go on a nature walk to the Empakaai Crater, a beautiful caldera with a lake at the bottom. You will also have the opportunity to spot flamingos and other water birds.

After breakfast, you will depart your safari lodge or camp in Ngorongoro Conservation Area and drive to Serengeti National Park, which is about a 3-hour drive away. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to spot wildlife and enjoy the changing scenery. Once you arrive at the park, you will go on a game drive enroute to your safari lodge or camp. You will have lunch at the lodge or camp and then spend the afternoon relaxing or exploring the surrounding area.
