Transfer to Lake Nakuru

You'll arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi and meet your driver-guide. Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, which is about a 2.5-hour drive from Nairobi. Check into your mid-range accommodation, such as Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. Enjoy lunch at your lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive in the park. Lake Nakuru is known for its flamingos, as well as other birdlife such as pelicans and cormorants. You may also see buffalo, giraffe, and various antelope species.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara

After breakfast, depart for Masai Mara National Reserve, a 5-6 hour drive from Lake Nakuru. Arrive at PrideInn Mara Camp for lunch and check-in. Relax and settle in, followed by an afternoon game drive in the reserve in search of “The Big Five”, such as lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino as well as the annual wildebeest migration (July-October) and many more wild animals. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Spend the next two days exploring Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. You can also opt for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in the park.
