Safari summary
We usually recommend the Machame route, as they have a high success rate of making it to the top. This route is strong for acclimatisation and incredibly scenic, passing through all the different ecosystems on the mountain. The longer the route, the higher the chance of success, so we would recommend more days if time and budget allow. This is because your body has more time to acclimatise, climbing high and then descending to sleep over a number of days, plus there is more opportunity to rest with some shorter days of walking before the summit climb.
