Arrival

Arrival at Entebbe International Airport (15mins) Upon your arrival in Entebbe, you will be picked up by a company representative transferred to your hotel.

To Murchison Falls

After breakfast at 7:00 am, you will be on your way North to Murchison Falls National Park. You will have a stop-over Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a home to the only wild rhinos in Uganda. Stopover at the Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for the Rhino trek that takes 1-2 hrs. Have lunch then proceed to the park arriving late in the evening for relaxation at the lodge.

Game drive and Boat cruise

After breakfast, you will continue to Murchison Falls National Park with a game drive in the northern bank of the Nile, giving you a greater chance of seeing animals such as giraffes, elephants, lions, hartebeest and different species of birds. In the afternoon, you have a boat trip on the base of the falls. Look out for the Nile crocodile, hippos, water bucks and lots of bird species at the bottom of the falls before returning to the lodge.

Kabwoya Wildlife Reserve

After breakfast, head out to Kabwoya Wildlife Reserve, this reserve is one of the most scenic views in the rift valley escarpment. You will arrive in time for lunch. In the evening, have a nature walk along the Albertine Rift Escarpment with break taking views of scenery and some game like antelopes, warthogs, waterbucks among others.

Game drive and Quadbike Safari

After breakfast. You will head out for a game drive in the reserve, look out for the Antelopes such as Uganda Kobs, waterbucks, Bushbucks, bush duikers, Jackson’s hartebeests and Impalas among others. After lunch, head out for a quad biking session in the reserve with a guide taking in breathtaking scenery of the Wildlife reserve.

To Fort portal

After a leisurely breakfast head towards Fort Portal with lunch en-route. The lovely town of Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon and is famous for the many tea plantations.

Hot Springs and Forest Walk

Breakfast and then head out to the Sempaya hot springs that are divided into male and female hot springs. The female hot spring Nyansimbi is the main attraction with the spring boiling at around 2m high. Have a picnic lunch and embark on a forest walk, look out for primates such as the Grey-cheeked mangabey, black-and-white colobus, blue monkey, baboons, red-tailed monkey, De Brazza's monkey, vervet monkey, and birds along the trails.

To Kibale National Park

After breakfast, (Optional activity) head out for 9km out of town to the Amabere Caves on a guided nature walk (these rocks and caves are called stalagmites and stalactites). Visiting the Amabere cave gives you a chance to check out the waterfalls and three nearby crater lakes. Many colobus monkeys can also be seen around. Thereafter transfer to Kibale National Park arriving in time for lunch in Kibale National Park, home of the primates. You may visit to Bigodi Community Cultural Center.

Chimp trekking and Crater Lakes

Today the forest opens its doors for a sensational chimp tracking. Enjoy a guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest in search of the wild chimpanzee, red-tailed monkey, black-and-white colobus monkey and many others. Have lunch and then head out for the crater lakes region. Take a hike to Kyegegwa Hill for a panoramic view of the 3 crater lakes, the Rwenzoris -mountains of the moon. Thereafter, return to the lodge for relaxation.

To Queen Elizabeth Park

After breakfast, head out to Queen Elizabeth Park arriving in time for lunch. Thereafter take a scheduled 2 hrs. scenic boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, that stretches over a 12 to 14 kms. Look out for wildlife sightings including, hippopotamus, Nile crocodiles, wallowing buffaloes on its reedy banks, elephants, multitudes of birds including many endemics as well as hundreds of other plains game that come to it for water all day long. Later return to the lodge.

Ishasha Sector

After breakfast you will visit a lion experiential project that allows visitors to actively participate in monitoring the prides in the park with locator devices and habituation calls, as well as monitoring weather, surroundings and behavior. The results are added to researchers' databases and helps in understanding of wildlife ecology and helping to conserve this wonderful ecosystem. Head to Ishasha Sector arriving in time for lunch and a game drive in search of tree climbing lions.

Game Safari and Nature Walk.

Breakfast and then have an early morning game drive in the park, you will return to the camp for lunch OR have picnic lunch and thereafter, have a nature walk to river Ishasha. Look out for the hippos, elephants and buffaloes along the river, spot different bird species. Optional- set up sundowner drinks while you enjoy the sun setting over the Ishasha.

To Bwindi National Park

After breakfast head to Bwindi National Park, the home of the mountain gorillas with lunch en-route, take time to look at the amazing scenery and homesteads of the local communities. You will arrive in the early evening for relaxation.

Gorilla Tracking

After breakfast, you will be allocated a gorilla family and guide in groups of 8. After a pre-tracking briefing, you will be assigned gorilla family, you drive or walk to the trailhead for the start of a thrilling adventure. Expect to walk long distances in steep and muddy conditions with rain overhead. Upon sighting the gorillas, you spend the allowed one hour with them as they go about their daily life; feeding, moving, playing and grooming. Hike back to base and head to the lodge.

To Lake Mburo

Head for Rushaga Batwa Trail Walking Experience with packed lunch. Get firsthand introduction to the Batwa pygmies who were displaced from the rainforest they shared with mountain gorillas. Learn how they lived, hunted and hear ancient legends and about medical plants. Head to Lake Mburo arriving in time for lunch. Look out for wildlife, like impalas, warthogs, zebras and buffaloes. You will take a boat ride on the lake and enjoy the rich birdlife and the hippos that are cooling off.

Bush Walk and Game Drive

Early start of the day as you head out for a bushwalk guided by a ranger for a 2-hour hike. Lake Mburo National Park is renowned for its rich birdlife and beautiful lakes. Enjoy a nature walk searching for zebras, warthogs, buffalo, impala and look out for the largest of Africa’s antelope, the beautiful Eland. Return to the camp for relaxation. After lunch, you will embark on an evening game drive in the park. Later head back to the lodge for relaxation.

Back to Entebbe

After breakfast, head back to Entebbe with a stopover at the Equator for a demonstration of the water flowing in the northern and southern hemisphere. You may visit some shops and craft centers at the Equator. Arrive early in the evening in Entebbe for relaxation.
