Arrive at Kigali - Nyungwe

Nyungwe Forest

Pick up from your place of residence / hotel in Rwanda, Kigali town by our guide and he/ she will brief you about your safaris. The first destination is Nyungwe forest National Park with an en-route stopover to some historical sites on the main road like Kamegeri rock, king’s palace and museums in Nyanza. Arrive in time for lunch and check in to your booked accommodation. Later in the evening, you will have a canopy walk deep into the forest combined with a walk around the tea plantation

Chimps trek - transfer to Volcanoe

Volcanoes

Take your early morning breakfast and later get to the starting point for a briefing from the park officials / guide on the do’s and don’t before you set off into the forest for chimpanzee trekking experience. The trekking will be done in time for your lunch, return to the booked lodge for lunch, check-out and then transfer to Volcanoes National park. Check-in your booked lodge for dinner and overnight.

After taking your breakfast, you will be transferred by Verdoro Safari's driver / guide to the starting point at least 30 minutes earlier for a briefing from the trekking guide about the Mountain Gorillas that you will be seeing in the volcanoes. After you retire back from gorilla trekking adventure, you will later head out to visit Buhanga forest for some Kinigi Cultural Village with dinner and overnight at your booked lodge / hotel.

Return to Kigali for a city tour

Have your breakfast, then later head-out to Kigali for city tour to visit; genocide memorial, local foods markets and artisan markets. Shop for Souvenir in local hand craft markets and then finally make your way to the airport for your return back home / drop off at desired destination.
