This 3-day fly-in Bwindi gorilla safari will take you for gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will be able to trek one of the 12 habituated mountain gorilla groups. Besides the gorillas, you will also have an opportunity to see other primates such as the red-tailed monkeys, chimpanzees, baboons, and black and white colobus monkeys among others. The gorilla trekking takes around 2 to 8 hours. Thereafter, you will experience the amazing Batwa indigenous culture.

Upon arrival at Kihihi, you’ll be met by our representative and driven to Buhoma Lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a drive of approximately 1 hour. There are a variety of optional activities that can be done this afternoon if time permits. These include: Forest walk (optional): Embark on a walk through the tropical rainforest with experienced wildlife guides. Enjoy scenic views and the sights and sounds of the rainforest.

Travel to the park's headquarters to meet your guides for the day and begin your gorilla-tracking experience. The journey, through dense foliage and up steep climbs, is abundantly rewarded with the lifetime experience of viewing mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. You will have an opportunity to be within meters of these magnificent apes. Mountain gorillas are extremely rare in the wild. This is an experience you won’t soon forget!
