Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Day 2:Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park (+5 hours) for a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel
Day 3: Morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest
Day 4: Gorilla trekking and Batwa Community visit. The Batwa pygmies are former inhabitats of Bwindi Forest National Park.
Day 5: Return to Entebbe via Igongo Cultural center. You will learn more about the Ankole and Bahima people well known for keeping the long-horned cattle. Have Covid-19 departure test upon arrival at your hotel.
Day 6: Airport transfer and departure

Itinerary
Arrival at Entebbe Airport
Upon your arrival at Entebbe airport, you will clear with the immigrations and get tested for Covid-19. After this, you will be welcomed our driver guide who will brief you about your 6 Days game viewing and gorilla trekking Safari and then transfer you to the hotel for relaxation and an overnight stay. Meals on the first day will be at your own cost.

Transfer to QENP for a boat cruise

Your guide will pick you at 7:30 am from your hotel, to begin the drive to Kasese via Fort Portal. Enjoy the winding scenery of the foot hills of the great Rwenzori ranges. Check in at your booked accommodation and after lunch, go for a two hour Boat cruise along the famous Kazinga channel. The boat cruise provides a relaxed opportunity to view water birds, resident hippos, visiting buffaloes, Uganda kobs, elephants, warthogs lining the banks of Kazinga Channel.

Begin your day with a cup of coffee followed by an early morning game drive. The early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile presents the opportunity for visitors to encounter elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs lakes and a variety of birds. You will proceed to drive through the Ishasha Sector; this takes you through the unique western rift valley escarpment, as you search for tree climbing lions before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Gorilla trekking and Batwa Visit

After breakfast, you will transfer to Park headquarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. The trek starts at 8:00am lasting for 40 minutes to 6 hours depending on how far the gorillas have moved into the forest. Gorilla trekking can be quite strenuous and so requires a certain level of fitness. Once you find the gorillas, you will be allowed one hour to observe the gorillas, take photos, audio and visual recordings. Later in the afternoon, visit the Batwa community.

Return to Entebbe via Igongo Museum
Start off your journey back to Entebbe at 7:30am. Driving past endless green rolling hills, small towns, homesteads, and plantations of various crops adds a true African feel to your journey. Make a stopover at Igongo Cultural Village to explore the life style and culture of the Ankole and Bahima people. Make another stopover for lunch at the Uganda Equator markings. You will proceed on your journey to Entebbe and upon arrival at your hotel, you will take COVID departure test and have dinner.
