Arrive – Entebbe

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, Ganyana safari driver/guide will meet and greet then transfer you to your accommodation in Entebbe. Later head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, you will start on a long journey to Lake Bunyonyi. As we drive along Mpigi- Masaka highway, we shall make a stopover at the Equator, take pictures and buy some souvenirs. Then proceed to Lake Bunyonyi a magically, stunningly beautiful lake in Uganda to relax and chill out. Check-in to your lodge and go for a boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi. You can decide to go for swimming at the lodge. You will enjoy seeing the African sun set on Lake Bunyonyi.

Breakfast will be served early and after head out for nature walk, guide will be with you so that you do not get lost and tell you the amazing history of Lake Bunyonyi and how they live around Lake Bunyonyi. After breakfast, enjoy the game drive and view different species of birds and variety of wildlife such as, Uganda Kob, Defassa Waterbuck, Buffaloes, Elephants, zebras, Giant forest hog, Oribi and when lucky a leopard and Lion among others. After lunch embark on a boat safari along the Kazinga channel with beautiful views of birds, hippos and many more as Lake George connects to Lake Edward. Later visit the baboon cave. Head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Early morning after breakfast, we continue driving through the undulating highlands of Southwestern Uganda on our way to the greener and beautiful Fort Portal area. Have lunch in fort portal. Head to the Lodge and relax, later have dinner and overnight.

We then head off on foot to track the chimpanzees of Kibale national park, home of an impressive 500 chimpanzees. The dense jungles are considered the best place to view chimpanzees in Africa. The guided walk offers a great opportunity to learn more about chimpanzees and other primates along with the various creatures of the jungle. Later Transfer to Semliki national Park.

After breakfast, we will transfer to the northern part Semliki National park. The strength and hotness of the springs are amazing as one can boil eggs and matooke in a few minutes, its ready to eat. Have lunch on the way and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Early breakfast and enjoy a boat cruise on the placid Victoria Nile to the bottom of the magnificent Murchison Falls where the Nile plunges through a narrow crevice. You will be able to see the Nile crocodile, bloat of hippos and a variety of bird species. After lunch go for the evening game drive in the Northern sector of the park, on a good day, you may have a chance to see animals like buffaloes, antelopes, lions, elephants and many more.

Rise early in the morning have breakfast, transfer to Pian Upe Game Reserve and enjoy a game drive which presents an opportunity to spot rare animals like cheetahs, ostriches and roan antelopes and other animals. You will also come across different bird species. Later transfer to Sipi Falls, check in the lodge for relaxation dinner and overnight.

You will encounter the Sipi falls – a series of three raging waterfalls. After exploring the falls, you will go for a hike up Mount Elgon. The most common route starts in Budadiri and continues via the Sasa trail to the summit, and then descends down the Sipi trail back to the Sipi falls. Hikes around the falls offer breath-taking views across Lake Kyoga, the Karamoja plains and the slopes of Mount Elgon.

After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to Jinja located in southern Uganda. At the source of the Nile enjoy a boat ride also get a chance to see the mighty River Nile (longest river in Africa) starting its journey all the way to the Mediterranean Sea.
