The Ngorongoro Crater is packed with animals and offers sweeping views from its rim and Lake Manyara with the Great Rift Valley Escarpment. The safari ends at Amboseli National Park, which is set against the magnificent backdrop of Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro.

Nairobi to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, you will receive a safari briefing before your East Africa safari start. drive to Lake Nakuru National Park where you will enjoy a full day game drive. Situated the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is fenced off as a sanctuary to protect the highly endangered Rothschild giraffes as well as both black and white rhinos. Drive back to your camp for overnight.

Enjoy a boat excursion (at extra cost of US$35.00 per person) on Lake Naivasha, which is the highest and most beautiful lake in the Rift Valley. We depart from the lake area and drive through the Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve, followed by an afternoon game drive in the park.

After breakfast drive from the Masai Mara to the Kenya/Tanzania border at Isebenia/Sirari. Enter the Serengeti National Park through the Ndabaka Park gate in Western Serengeti and enjoy en-route game drives to the lodge. Arrive late afternoon in the Central Serengeti with herds of animals running across vast open spaces and predators hunting their prey.

After bidding the Serengeti farewell, you will visit Olduvai Gorge, a famous archaeological site. En-route to Ngorongoro, you can opt to visit a Maasai village near the crater (US$35 per person).
