Arrive Chileka International Airport in Blantyre. Transfer to the Satemwa Tea plantation in Thyolo. A journey through endless tea plantations.

Spend the morning on tea plantations, visit a tea factory, see how tea leaves are harvested and processed. Take part in tea tasting session. Optional afternoon trip to Mulanje Mountain, a great place for a quick hike.

After Breakfast, Transfer to Zomba Plateau. Day at leisure at the hotel in the mountains. The hotel is located on the edge of the plateau overlooking the city of Zomba, the ancient capital of Malawi, famous for its colonial architecture.

The Zomba Mountains are one of Malawi's most famous landmarks. The plateau is covered with a variety of African vegetation - lilies, aloes, gladioli, ancient cicadas, ferns. The upper part of the plateau is dotted with many streams, lakes and waterfalls. Transfer to the central coast of Lake Malawi. On the way, we will stop at the Mua Mission, a small cultural center where there is a museum of Malawian culture, a carving center, a craft market, a new research center and a library. In the museum you can learn about the traditional tribes inhabiting Malawi - Chewa, Ngoni, Yao, their customs and peculiarities, the relationship with each other, the influence of Islam and Christianity, as well as the slave trade on the life of these tribes.
