Safari summary
Lake Nakuru National Park hosts a huge population of Rhinos and over 56 different species. Greater and Lesser flamingos form part of the over 450 birds species. Lake Naivasha is rich in wildlife, over 450 bird species, lots of tree species. It is surrounded by a forest of yellow barked acacia. In the forest are numerous birds that make it a world renowned destination for birding. Giraffes and buffaloes spot the shores of the lake as colobus monkeys rule the treetops. It is also popular for a huge population of Hippos in the shallow waters. Maasai Mara hosts the wildebeest migration, all the Big five alongside other small and huge mammals as well as birds. Some of these animals are; cheetah, serval, hyena, bat-eared foxes, black-backed and side-striped jackals, hippo, crocodile, baboons, warthog, topi, eland, Thompson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, impala, waterbuck, oribi, reed-buck and zebra.

Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru
Lake Nakuru
You will be picked by our driver/guide from your Nairobi hotel at 7a.m. and immediately depart for Lake Nakuru arriving to arrive by mid-morning. Have a short game drive en route to the camp/lodge for lunch. Another game drive is at 4p.m. Meals: Lunch & Dinner.
Sopa Lodge, Flamingo Tented Camp
Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha
Have breakfast then have another game drive till mid-morning when you depart for Lake Naivasha. Afternoon is spent with a boat ride to Crescent Island. Meals: Lunch & Dinner.
Sopa Lodge or Lake Naivasha Resort
Day 3: Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara
Masai Mara
Have breakfast then depart for Mara to arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive is at 3 or 4p.m. till 6p.m. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Full day

Spend the day on full-day game drive in search of the big five and many other wildlife that inhabits this beautiful Savannah plain. There will be picnic lunch during the day. Optional activities: Hot air balloon & guided nature walks. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 5: Maasai Mara – Full day

Day 6: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
Have another early morning game drive then depart return to the camp for breakfast. Thereafter depart for Nairobi with a stop for lunch. You will later be dropped at the airport. Safari ends at 3/4p.m. Meals: Breakfast & Lunch.
