Walking around Stone Town is an architecture enthusiast’s highlight – the variety of building cover Indian, Arabic, Gothic, Saracenic and Swahili styles. You will be amazed with Arabic style houses with their inner courtyards next to the filigree wooden balconies. As you walk around spare an eye for the famous Zanzibar doors that grace the front of almost every building of note and which style has been copied all over the world.

Prison Island is located a mere twenty minutes by boat from Stone Town. This relaxing excursion allows you to experience the coral rag forest where giant Aldabra tortoises shuffle through the trees. You can snorkel in the clear waters, take a hiking trail on the island, or soak up the sun on the powder white beach.

Safari Blue Sea Adventure
A full day sailing/snorkeling/sunbathing on a traditional dhow and seafood barbecue. Setting sail from Fumba, you will explore the Menai Bay where dolphins are often sighted. When dropping the anchor at Kwale sandbank, you can snorkel in the coral reefs. At Kwale Island you will be served a buffet of grilled fish, lobster, calamari, chicken and coconut rice. Then the boat sails to a stunning natural lagoon where there is opportunity to swim, before the day is over.

The seas surrounding Kizimkazi in the south are home to a large number of bottle-nosed and spinner dolphins, beautiful coral reefs and tropical fish, these dolphins are living in their natural environment which sometimes may be hard to find them before swimming with them, but there is high probability to find them in the morning.
