Itinerary
Day 1
Day 1: 05TH SEPT: Kampala – FortPortal. After an early morning breakfast, you will be picked by your driver guide who will transfer you toFort Portal in Tooro Kingdom. This area is known for its vast tea estates and for the cool temperate climate. Driving through Mityana as you approach Fort Portal you will see the Rwenzori Mountain ranges in the distance. On arrival you will have your lunch and take an afternoon short city tour to cultural attractions like Amabere ga Nyinamwuiru a famous cultural site attached to the Tooro kingdom. If time allows you may also visit the crater lakes before returning to check into Kyaninga lodge.(FB)
Day 2
Semuliki
Day 2: Day of relaxation at your lodge, enjoy beautiful views of the Rwenzori mountain ranges and good service at Kyaninga Lodge. Day3: - Semuliki National Park You will have chance to visit the Hotwater springs of Semuliki National Park and then proceed to Ntoroko where you will check into the Ntoroko Game Lodge . Along the way yu will see numerous savannah animals and enjoy breath taking views of the vast Savanah. In ntoroko you have the opportunity to see the rare pre-historic shoebill stock that is endemic to the swamps of Ntoroko. You will check ito the Ntoroko Game lodge, enjoy the natural sand beaches on Lake Albert and relax before your dinner and overnight.
Day 4
Queen Elizabeth
Day 4; Ntoroko to Queen Elizabeth National Park After your breakfast, you will have some time to enjoy the beach of Lake Albert before driving to Queen Elizabeth National Park. A short stop for lunch in Fort Portal before proceeding to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Kasese, this allows you an en route stop over at the Equator for pictures before proceeding to Mweya Safari lodge. On arrival at your lodge, you will relax for the rest of the day or go swimming at lodge’s pool or work out in the health club. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge. (FB)
Day 5
Queen Elizabeth
Day 5: Queen Elizabeth national park. After an early morning warm up tea or coffee at 6:30am, you will be transferred for a game drive along Kasenyi tracks and Queens mile in search of animals like: lions, elephants, cape buffalos, warthogs, spotted hyenas, mangoose, waterbucks, kobs and, if lucky, the leopard, and over 606 bird species recorded here, this will see you return for a full breakfast, relax into the lunch break. After lunch, you will be transferred to enjoy a unique two hours boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This launch cruise gives you a great opportunity for photography, bird watching and game viewing at close range. Return for an easy evening, dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge. (FB)
Day 6
Lake Mburo | Queen Elizabeth
Day 6: Queen Elizabeth N.P – Lake to Lake Mburo National Park After breakfast, you will depart Queen Elizabeth NP and travel to L.Mburo NP via Mbarara. Your drive will be very scenic as you exit QENP and have breathtaking views of the escarpment and Kyambura gorge in the distance. You will arrive at the lodge in the afternoon and have your lunch break at Mihingo Lodge. Latter take the afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo’s numerous lakes before retiring to your Lodge for Dinner and overnight.
Day 7
Lake Mburo
Day 7: Lake Mburo National Park After an early morning breakfast, transfer for a game drive in search of the beautiful impalas, zebras, cape buffalos, elands, oribi, topis among other animal and bird species that your guide will help you spot. Return to your lodge for relaxation before lunch; relax by the poolside after lunch and enjoy the vast expanse of the savannah. The park is a very ideal place for bird watchers, who will enjoy more than 250 species of birds found here. If time allows, you will take a walk around the lodge or to the local communities. Day 8
Lake Mburo
Day 8: Lake Mburo National Park – Kampala. After your breakfast, depart Lake Mburo with an en-route game drive as you transfer back to Kampala via Masaka arriving in time to have your lunch before doing some shopping and then transferring to the airport for your flight home. (Meals in Kampala are excluded from the quote. END OF SERVICE. Cost includes: Accommodation and meals as stated on the itinerary, park entry fee, Boat ride, Visit to Amabere, bottled mineral water throughout the trip and services of a professional English driver /guide in a 4WD safari configured Land cruiser.
