Tanzania Budget Safari Tour

The first day we will pick you up from your hotel in (or around) Arusha. During the 2,5 hour drive you will enjoy the beautiful nature and landscapes. In Tarangire National Park we'll do a game drive before lunch. After lunch at the picnic site we'll do a game drive all afternoon. Tarangire is located 115 km south of Arusha, and is a long and narrow park that covers 2850 km2 and runs along the Tarangire River.

We will wake up early in the morning and after a few minutes drive we will arrive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro crater has a diameter of about 20 kilometers and a 600 -meter-high crater wall. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. The crater life estimated 30,000 larger mammals. In the center of the crater is a salt lake.

The entire day is set aside for more game drives in the Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is the habitat for an abundance of wildlife, such as impalas, buffalo, crocodiles and hippos, but is more well-known for its great migrating herds of zebras and wildebeest. The animals’ trek is determined by the rainfall and varies from year to year. In November and December the animals move from the northern region, dominated by woodlands and hills, to the grassy plains of the south.

Lake Natron is a soda lake at the base of the active Ol Donyo Lengai volcano, the area around Lake Natron is often described as having a desolate and almost lunar beauty. Walks around the lake and to the streams and waterfalls along the nearby escarpment make for a fantastic adventure off the beaten track. In the afternoon we'll drive back to Arusha where we arrive before dinner time.
