Day 2: Full Day Serengeti Park After the breakfast proceed for the whole day game drive in the Serengeti with a lunch and leisure break at the Angata Serengeti Camp in the mid afternoon. The term Serengeti means endless plains in Masai language. In the central plains there are carnivores like leopard, lion, hyena and cheetah. This park is normally the scene of the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra that occurs between the Kenyan Mara and the Serengeti. Varied bird species can be seen here including eagles, ducks, geese, egrets, vultures, secretary birds, ibis, stork, herons, kites, pelicans, cranes and guinea fowl. The Serengeti National park is a arguably the best known wildlife sanctuary in the world with over 3 million large mammals. About 35 species of plains animals can be seen there including the “big 5” - Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Leopard and Buffalo. Other common species found here includes hippo, giraffe, eland, impala and other antelope types, baboons, monkey and a profusion of over 500 species of birds. In May or early June, huge herds of wildebeest, gazelle and zebra begin their annual spectacular migration northwards. In their wake follow predators, lion, cheetah and wild dogs with vultures circling overhead! Come back to the Angata Serengeti Camp  for dinner and overnight. Arusha | Ngorongoro Crater

Day 4 : Ngorongoro Crater Full Day - Arusha On this day the breakfast will be served as early as 0700hrs. After the breakfast check out the camp early in the morning as at 0730am, we will descend to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day explorative game drive tour. We take a picnic lunch and this will be served in the crater next to the hippo pool, at this point you will be able to stretch your feet and visit the washrooms. The Ngorongoro Crater is recognized as a UNESCO protected World Heritage Site and forms part of an international biosphere reserve. The crater measures approximately 300 sq km and measures about 19 km across. The floor of the crater is 600 meters below the rim, (which is over 2200 m.a.s.l), and is home to an abundance of wildlife including black rhino, lion, cheetah, buffalo, elephants and a plethora of antelope species. Late in the afternoon we ascend the crater and then proceed to Arusha with a drop off to the Hotel of your choice at around 1730hrs or the Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
