Nyerere NP (formerly Selous GR) is the largest NP in Africa which sharing the Eco-system with Mikumi NP and bordering together at northern side while Ruaha National Park is the second National Park in Tanzania followed by Serengeti NP.

Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi NP

Mikumi

Your driver guide will pick you from your hotel at 0700am and start driving to Mikumi NP for afternoon game drive until sunset. You will have a short stop for hot lunch in Morogoro. Animals commonly found in this park include lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra and elephants and many more. Wild dog can come and go in this Park. Over 300 species of birds have been observed in this park. Meals Plan: Lunch and Dinner

Day 2: Mikumi to Ruaha NP

Ruaha

After breakfast start driving to Ruaha NP with hot lunch stop in Iringa town. Arrive for afternoon game drives in Ruaha NP looking for hippo, crocodile, waterbuck, reedbuck and buffalo venture to the river’s edge to drink, attracting the attention of lion, leopard, hyena, wild dog and jackal. Meals Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 3: Full day in Ruaha NP

Ruaha

Wake up at 0600am (If you stay inside the park) for early morning game drive. Enjoy the sunrise in the park. Continue with game drive until 08:30am then drive back to the cottage for breakfast. After breakfast you will continue with game drive until sunset. If you stay outside the park (Ruaha Hilltop Lodge) then you will go out for full day game drive after breakfast. Meals Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 4: Another full Day in Ruaha

Ruaha

Wake up for early morning game drive which will take about two hours then drive back at the cottage for breakfast. After breakfast you will proceed with full day game drive to explore the beautiful of the park, with its full of rocky, kopjes and ancient baobab trees. Continue with me drive until sunset. If you stay outside the park (Ruaha Hilltop Lodge) then you will go out for full day game drive after breakfast. Meals Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 5: Ruaha NP to Morogoro town

Ruaha

After breakfast you will drive to Morogoro town with game drive en-route to the exit gate. Arrive late afternoon for dinner and overnight. Meals Plan: Breakfast and Lunch (You will pay direct to the hotel for dinner)

Day 6: Morogoro to Nyerere NP

Nyerere (Selous)

After breakfast, at 0730am you will drive to Nyerere NP (ex Selous GR) with packed lunch. After check in at the lodge you will go out for boat safari from 1600 until sunset. The journey is the most amazing and truly wild and untouched areas of Tanzania. Boat safari brings you into close contact with hippo, crocodile and fantastic bird life. Day 7: Full day game drive

Nyerere (Selous)

Today you will have full day game drive In Nyerere NP (formerly Selous GR) exploration of the area by 4wd vehicle. You will continue with game drive until late afternoon then drive back at the Lodge for overnight. Animals commonly found in this park include lion, wild dogs, greater kudu, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, elephants and many more. Over 350 species of birds have been observed in this park. Meals Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 8: Nyerere NP to Dar es Salaam

Today you will go out for walking safari in the wild with guidance of armed ranger. Walking safari will give you a particularly intimate feel of African wild. You will walk in the nature, see the different foot print and droppings of different wild animals and small creatures that you can’t see them during the game drive. After walking safari you will drive back to Dar es Salaam. Drop off at your hotel or airport for your next destination. Meals plan: B & L
