Itinerary
Day 1
DAY 1: ARRIVAL On arrival at Entebbe Airport- Uganda, you will be welcomed by your tour guide who will then drive you to your hotel.
Day 2
Murchison Falls
DAY 2: TRAVEL TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK After breakfast, you shall start your journey/tour, driving through Kampala, Uganda’s Capital City, and proceed to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Here, you shall have a walking safari to trek white Rhinos that have been re-introduced in Uganda. In the afternoon, you will drive to the legendary Murchison Falls from which the National Park (Murchison Falls National Park) derives its name.
Day 3
Murchison Falls
DAY 3: GAME DRIVE After an early breakfast, you shall proceed to game drive and in the afternoon, you shall go for a boat ride up the Nile river to Murchison Falls. You will be able to enjoy spectacular falls and scenery by hiking to the top and seeing the Nile squeezing through a 7-metre gap at the bottom, with huge crocodile basking.
Day 4
Kibale
DAY 4: DRIVE TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK After breakfast, you shall proceed to Kibale National Park, along the way, you will pass many tea plantations and have a stopover at Fort-portal town before proceeding to your accommodation in the afternoon.
Day 5
DAY 5: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING In the morning, you will go for the famous Chimpanzee tracking! The afternoon session will be optional. Some will choose to relax at their hotel while others will go for a community walk in the villages nearby.
Day 6
Queen Elizabeth
DAY 6: DRIVE TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK You shall drive to the world’s famous Queen Elizabeth National Park, crossing the Equator along the way, and having an evening game drive after arrival.
Day 7
DAY 7: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK You will have an early morning game drive, and later have lunch at Mweya Safari Lodge later in the afternoon. In the evening, you will enjoy a boat ride on Kazinga Channel where you will view different animals and bird species.
Day 8
Bwindi Impenetrable
DAY 8: TRAVEL TO BWINDI NATIONAL PARK In the morning, you will travel by road to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the home of Mountain Gorillas. Along the way, you will have a chance to go for a game drive at Ishasha Wilderness where the tree climbing lions are found.
Day 9
DAY 9: GORILLA TREKKING On this day, you will get up very early and drive to Bwindi for Gorilla trekking. You will be led by an experienced Tour Guide and Ranger who will tell you interesting facts about flora and fauna, and the lifestyles of Gorillas. All guests shall trek gorillas in Uganda in the afternoon.
Day 10
DAY 10: DRIVE TO RWANDA After breakfast, you will drive to Rwanda fondly known as the “land of a thousand hills”. We are hopeful that you will enjoy the landscape along the way. You will spend the night in Musanze for overnight.
Day 11
DAY 11: GORILLA TREKKING IN VIRUNGA You will experience a unique highlight of your trip with the visiting of the mountain gorillas of our planet. All guests trekking gorillas in Rwanda shall do so in the afternoon.
Day 12
DAY 12: DRIVE TO KIGALI & DEPARTURE The trip will end with a drive and tour of Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda. Areas to visit will include the Genocide museum in the suburb of Gisozi. We shall drive to the Airport in the afternoon and then departure.
