DAY 1 – MANDARA HUT This is one of the most affordable Kilimanjaro trekking tours. This package starts with a morning drive to Marangu that takes approximately two hours. Your journey to Marangu (1372m), which is located on Kilimanjaro’s south-eastern side, is through the semi-tropical foothills of Kilimanjaro. DAY 3 – HOROMBO HUT When you spend a day at Horombo Hut, you will get used to the altitude climate in a gradual manner.
