Start your tour to Jinja, setting off from Kampala early Morning and pass by the Sezibwa falls. This is one of the Buganda cultural heritage sites and you can enjoy rock climbing as well. Continue the journey to Jinja, passing through the Mabira forest. This is Uganda’s biggest natural forest with quite a good number of bird species, primates & trees. You will get to enjoy a forest walk or an optional activity like Zip lining. Reaching Jinja town, it has a number of craft shops, buildings and industries. Enjoy lunch in one of the local restaurants or you could opt for Uganda’s street food Delicacy – the Rolex. You will also visit the source of the Nile to see where it starts. Other optional activities you can do include quad biking to the nearby villages, horse riding along the banks of the Nile.

The Nile rafting experience takes a full or half day. You will enjoy getting soaked wet on the grade 3 and grade 5 trips on the Nile River. Great photography & Videography during the rafting process is provided by the rafting companies.

Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1: To Jinja, Sezibwa falls, Mabira forest and source of the Nile Your guide will pick you from your accommodation in Kampala or place of residence and drive towards Jinja town stopping by the famous Sezibwa falls – a Buganda cultural heritage site. Continue driving to Mabira forest which is 54 km away from Kampala. Go for a forest walk to see the various bird species, and other mammals in the forest. After head to Jinja town for Lunch. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the Source of the Nile – and enjoy the sunset. Check into your lodge for dinner and Overnight stay. Day 2

Day 2: Nile Rafting, transfer back to Kampala. Today you will prepare for an awesome adrenaline adventure on the river Nile. You will get a pre-safety training from the rafting guides on how to handle yourself and a safety boat is always available for those not willing. This will probably take a full or half day Nile rafting experience depending on your choice. Also get to enjoy a BBQ lunch. In the evening transfer back to Kampala. End of tour
