Itinerary

Day 01

Kafue

Day 01 On arrival at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, your driver will meet you and transfer you to Kafue National park in an air-conditioned vehicle and arrive early or late in the afternoon. Time allowing, after checking-in, you will be at liberty to explore the environment of your luxury safari lodge and possible do a night safari drive. Diner and Overnight at the lodge Your guide will pick you from the reception for your early morning game drive in the park (teas and coffees are served during the game drive. After lunch, later in the day, the guide will pick you for the sun downer game drive just for the day-shy animals. Diner and Overnight at the lodge.

Day 02

Day 02 Today, early in the morning your guide will pick you for an exciting and dramatic Walking safari experience. This will afford you an opportunity to have an up-close view of the animals. In the afternoon, will be a free relaxing afternoon and you will be at liberty to choose the available activities offered by the lodge. Diner and Overnight at the lodge

Day 03

Lower Zambezi | Mana Pools | Zambezi

Day 03 After your delicious and last breakfast at this lodge, your driver will pick you from your lodge reception for your return air transfer to the Lower Zambezi National park via Lusaka. About The Lower Zambezi NationalParkhttp://www.zambiatourism.com/destinations/national-parks/lower-zambezi-national-park/ This Park is still relatively undeveloped; its beauty lies in its wilderness state. The diversity of animals is not as wide as the other big parks, but the opportunities to get close to game wandering in and out of the Zambezi channels are spectacular. The Park lies opposite the famous Mana Pools Reserve in Zimbabwe, so the whole area on both sides of the Zambezi River is a massive wildlife sanctuary. Upon arrival you’ll be checked in at your lodge or camp and briefed and if time allows, the clients will take a short rest in their cottages or Luxury tents overlooking the Zambezi River. SUNSET BOAT CRUISE The Boat departs mid-afternoon and eventually the trips accords you the opportunity to view sun; in a big red glow as it sets on the African horizon leaving behind a trail of reflection on the river and silhouettes of the African jungle as it awakens to a variety of nocturne animals, birds and insects sounds. After the cruise, the clients will be allowed to go to their rooms to freshen up in readiness for dinner on the banks of the Zambezi River.

Day 04

Zambezi

Day 04 FULL DAY GAME CRUISE ON THE BOAT The lower Zambezi is a valley which on one end runs along the might Zambezi River. Naturally high temperatures are part of life. The river basins and the banks are an automatic attraction to both humans and animal for a cooler environment to mitigate the heat, hence a cruise along the river gives you the obvious opportunity to view a concentrated wide variety of animals i.e. Elephants, Antelopes, Wildebeests, Zebras, Hippos, Buffaloes, Etc As the boat slowly and majestically sails along the river it brings you to some of the most overwhelming encounters both on the river banks and on the river as for instance when the Elephants take their so often migration from one land mass to another: from Zimbabwe to Zambia and vice versa. The boat takes several stops on the river as you continue having fan viewing animals both on land and on the river. Lunch and refreshments are provided en-route the banks of the Zambezi River. This activity takes the whole day. At the end of this activity, you will be transferred back to the lodge for your dinner and bed. The Luangwa Valley represents one of Southern Africa’s finest game viewing experiences, with dense animal concentrations and a comparatively open landscape.

Day 05

Lower Zambezi | North Luangwa | South Luangwa | Zambezi

Day 05 After your last breakfast at your lodge in Lower Zambezi National Park. Check out and prepare for transfer to Kenneth Kaunda International Airport. Arrival at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport and our uniformed representative will meet you and advise you on your next local flight from Lusaka to Mfuwe in the South Luangwa National Park. The valley comprises three national parks: the popular and easy –to-reach, the 9,050 sq km South Luangwa National Park, the much less visited and smaller 4,636 sq km North Luangwa National Park and the tiny 300 sq km Luambe National Park. The South Luangwa National park, Zambia’s best known park, undoubtedly or arguably offers visitors a safari experience that competes with any other on the continent. Don’t miss the exhilarating night drives and walking safaris!!! Time allowing, after checking-in at one of the rustic but comfortable camps, you will be at liberty to explore the environment of your luxury safari lodge/camp and later in the afternoon, your driver /guide will pick you and off for your approximately 4 hours night drive in the park and return to the camp just in time for your sumptuous dinner. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge.

Day 06

Day 06 Your guide will pick you from the reception of your lodge for your early morning 4hours game drive in the park [teas, mineral water and coffees are served during the game drive]. In the afternoon after your lunch, you will have an opportunity to interact with the community and have the opportunity to do your village walk. Exchange each other’s cultures and norms. Or go for any other activities of interest as will be availed to you at the lodge. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge.

Day 07

Day 07 On this day in the park, you will set off for the 3 hours early morning walking safari in the park accompanied by an armed game ranger from national parks authority. This safari will afford you once again an up-close view of the wildlife. Five hours later, you will be back at the lodge/camp in time for your lunch. In the afternoon, you will have an opportunity to visit Kawasa village and Chipembele Animal Orphanage. Here, you will interact with the community and view the orphaned rhinos which is made possible by the Luangwa Conservation and Community Fund. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge.

Day 08

Victoria Falls | Zambezi

Day 08 After your early delicious and last breakfast at this lodge, your driver will pick you from your lodge reception for your return air transfer to Lusaka in time for another connecting flight to Livingstone, the home of the awesome, exciting and spectacular Victoria Falls. Our drivers/guides will be patiently waiting for your arrival at Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula Airport. After meeting the guests, they will be led to the air-conditioned vehicle and transfer to Chapa Classic lodge. In the afternoon, you will be picked from the reception of the lodge and be transferred for your exciting, relaxing and splendid sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River above the mighty Victoria Falls aboard a large water vessel. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge.

Day 09

Victoria Falls

Day 09 On this day in the morning after breakfast, the guides will pick the clients from hotel and transfer them for a guided tour of the Victoria Falls on the Zambia side. Mineral water will be served during the tours. After your dramatic 2-hours tour of the Victoria Falls, you will be transferred back to the Hotel for lunch. 14h00 will be time for a game drive in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National park the home of the white rhinos. It is a 2 hours tour and a mini rhino walk . After the tour you will be transferred back to the lodge. Overnight at the Lodge on Bed & Breakfast

Day 10

DAY 10 On this day you are free to do more optional day long activities such as Full day White Water Rafting, Full day canoeing, Full day fishing etc. or any other non pre booked activities.

Day 11

Day 11 After breakfast at your hotel, depending on your flight back home, you will be transferred to Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula Airport for check-in with the help of your guide for your onward flight to your final destination.
