Lake Manyara | Serengeti

Day 3: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park After breakfast, the day will begin with a scenic drive up the Rift Valley escarpment to Serengeti National Park.  As we cross the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority, we may make an optional stop at Olduval Gorge where there is a museum housing documents of 1.8 million-year old human-like fossils.  We will then head towards Serengeti National Park and will game drive along the way to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5-6: North Serengeti After breakfast each day, you will enjoy full days in the northern part of the Serengeti.  One of the impressive highlights will be the migration across the Mara River. The northern region of the Serengeti is rich with migration opportunities across these endless plains.  Your guide will be schooled on the current location for the various migration patterns. Once again, at the end of your days, you will be brought to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Arusha | Ngorongoro Crater

You will begin your day with a decent of 600M into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, which is home to an estimated 30,000 wild animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black Rhinos.  The crater has a dense population of predators such as the Lion, Cheetah and the elusive Leopard.Lunch will be at the Ngoitokitok Springs as you watch the hippos meander in and out of this small spring lake.  After lunch, we will have one last game drive as webegin our return and drive back to Arusha.
