Cape Town is known as one of the most beautiful cities in the world as the city took the top spot for 'Best City' for the sixth year running, it also has one of the new seven wonders of the nature called Table Mountain which you will get to view from the bottom of the Mountain on day 2 of this trip. Combined then with a safari will make this a truly memorable trip called a Jumbari Moment. Both properties can take children.

Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1 Your Jumbari Family Safaris representative will meet at Cape Town International Airport as you start your Jumbari Moment trip. You will be transferred to your hotel called The Commodore Hotel for 3 memorable nights and 4 days. Check into your hotel where you can freshen up after your flight and allow you to explore and walk around the V&A Waterfront as the hotel is centrally located at the Waterfront. Children friendly as well. We also have VIP status at many restaurants in the area so we can book these for you for dinner.

Day 2

Day 2 After your breakfast at the hotel, you will be collected in the morning around 08h15 for your morning city tour, noon gune and visit to Table Mountain Cape Town city tour. No visit to Cape Town is complete without this tour to experience the highlights of the mother city (Cape Town). On the tour your driver will take you along Camps Bay, Clifton and Sea Point. You will visit many attractions including the Company Gardens and drive past the City Hall, the Castle and Malay quarter, a Diamond and Tanzanite experience and ascend Signal Hill. Continue to the Table Mountain cable station, one of the new 7 Wonders of Nature where you can admire the views from the lower cable station, then you will return to your hotel. You can relax in the afternoon or explore at your own leisure.

Day 3

Day 3 After breakfast, be ready for your 2nd morning tour and you will be collected around 08h00 for your 4 hour tour to famous Cape Point. Your driver will take you past Hout Bay, which was once a fishing village. The tour continues over the famous Chapman's Peak drive following the Atlantic Ocean until Cape Point. Then drive pass the naval base of Simon's Town and continue along the Indian Ocean, where we will stop at the African penguin colony at Boulders Beach before ending the tour back at your hotel. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 4

Kruger

Day 4-7 After breakfast, your driver will collect you and transfer to Cape Town Airport and you will have to Hoedspruit Airport centrally located in the area of safari. Your Jumbari representative will transfer you to the lodge Chacma Bush Camp which offers the perfect big five safari experience. Located in Maseka Balule Game Reserve in the Greater Kruger. The family friendly camp sleeps 10 people so small but authentic experience on a private game reserve, which shares open borders with the Kruger National Park. Guests can enjoy morning (with a breakfast stop) and evening game drives (with a sundowner stop), bird watching, boma dinners around the fire and walks behind the camp. All game drives are conducted in open 4 x 4 Toyota Land Cruisers or Land Rovers. Life is relaxed at the bush camp in the natural surrounds. There is 2 chalets that can take children from 5 years of age and above.

Day 8

Day 8 After your morning game drive with a breakfast stop, your transfer will collect you and take you back to Hoedspruit Airport for your onward journey.
