Nxai Pan | Okavango Delta

Day 1-2 Touch down in Maun Airport in Botswana, gateway to the Okavango Delta. Meet and greet services at Maun Airport by a Jumbari Family Safaris representative. From their take a light aircraft flight to Nxai Pan, your first camp for 2 nights. From the airstrip take a short transfer to the camp. Nxai Pan does not only offer safaris, they also offer a walk with one of the San bushmen trackers, which is an information walk and is will be one of your favourite experiences at this camp. At the camp, you will have family rooms and a private vehicle throughout the stay. Programmes vary for each family and will create a personalized schedule based on ages, genders and interests of the children. But they can offer spoor castings, fishing, mammal and bird and plant identification and the staff will involve the children in camp duties. Day 6-8 After your morning game drive and breakfast at the lodge, you will have a transfer to the local airstrip and then take a light aircraft flight to your next camp called Lagoon in the Kwando Private Reserve which is a land and water camp so great for land and water based activities. Game drives (day and at night and off road), boat cruises, fishing and walking safaris all with a guide and tracker is included. 30% of mammals are mainly active at night hence game drives at night will give you more opportunity to view them. PLUS a private game drive vehicle for you and your family. The boat cruise is on a double deck boat which is also the perfect way to spend an evening and watching the sun go down. Camp is well known for seeing wild doge as there is a den close to the camp. Great tented accommodation where the focus is on service and the wildlife experience for everyone.
