This is combination of two National Parks safari, will take you to Mikumi NP and Udzungwa Mountain NP. Mikumi is Tanzania’s fifth-largest national park, with almost guaranteed wildlife sightings. Udzungwa Mountain National Park is one of Tanzania’s most outstanding, pristine, paradise and unique exciting wilderness mountains forested with greatest altitudinal range of forest.

Dar es Salaam to Mikumi NP

Mikumi

Pick up from the Airport, ferry or Hotel and drive to Mikumi National Park which is approximately 5 hours’ drive. You will have a short stop in Morogoro for hot lunch. After Lunch proceed to Mikumi NP for afternoon game drive. Enjoy late afternoon game drive with sunset view at hippo pool and see the animal’s coming to drink.

Mikumi to Udzungwa Mountain NP

Mikumi

After breakfast start drive to Udzungwa Mountain NP. Arrive for mountain trekking and experience the natural beauty of the Park. You will get the access to wonderful Sanje waterfall stunning 170m. You will see different species of monkeys include endemic specie of red Colobus Monkey and beautiful scenery of Kilombero valley. You will get the chance to swim in one of the waterfall plunge pools. After trekking drive back to Camp and enjoy your afternoon in swimming pool.

Full day game drive in Mikumi NP

Mikumi

Wake up for early breakfast in the camp. After breakfast you will go for full day game drive in Mikumi National park with option of parked lunch boxes or hot lunch in one of the lodge inside the park. After long day game drive, late afternoon you will drive back to the camp and relax in swimming pool.

Mikumi to Dar es Salaam

Wake up for breakfast in the camp and later drive to Maasai tribe. Today you will get the chance to visit Maasai Boma to see how they live and get the history of their tribe. After visiting Maasai Boma you will start driving back to Dar es Salaam with a short stop for hot lunch in Morogoro town. On arrival to Dar es Salaam you will be dropped off at your hotel or airport.
