Dar es Salaam to Nyerere NP
Nyerere (Selous)
Depart for Nyerere NP (Selous GR) with short stop for hot lunch in Kibiti. Arrive for afternoon boat safari along the mighty Great Rufiji River. Boat safari brings you into close contact with hippo, crocodile and fantastic birdlife. Animals make their way to the river to drink and boat may approach elephant, waterbuck and other on the river banks to within a few meters. Crocodile glide into the water as your boat approaches and hippo appear in frightening proximity, grunting and blowing steam.

Full day game drive in Nyerere NP
Nyerere (Selous)
You will have full day game drive In Nyerere NP (Formerly Selous GR) exploration of the Reserve by 4wd vehicle; will permit you to have good photographic opportunities and the chance to explore different sections of vast park. The Selous Game Reserve is the largest game reserve in Africa, covering the area of 50,000square kilometers. Selous is famous for its Elephants, commonly seen are lions, wild dogs, buffalos, bushbuck, impalas, elands, baboons, zebra, wildebeest and greater kudus.

Nyerere (Selous)
Wakeup early in the morning and have a cup of coffee or tea, then go out for wilderness walking safari with guidance of an armed ranger. Walking safari will give you a particularly intimate feel for African wild. You will walk in the nature, see the different foot print and droppings of different wild animals and small creatures that you can’t see them during the game drive. After walking safari you will go back to the lodge for breakfast then go out for game drive until sunset.

Morning after breakfast, you will start your journey to Morogoro town with game drive en-route, the journey is the most amazing and truly wild and untouched areas of Tanzania. The drive will take you up into the Uluguru Mountains across rivers and pass through small local villages and farms. The drive is tiring but possibly the most rewarding and adventures on the southern circuit. Arrive in Morogoro for Dinner and overnight.

After breakfast start the journey to Ruaha National Park with stopover in Iringa Town for lunch. Afternoon game drives in the park look hippo, crocodile, waterbuck, reedbuck and buffalo venture to the river’s edge to drink, attracting the attention of lion, leopard, hyena, wild dog and jackal. There are many birds in the park include Eurasia migrants that comes to visit the park twice a year.

After breakfast, you will go out with packed lunch for full day game drives in Ruaha National Park. A fine network of game viewing roads follows the Great Ruaha River and its seasonal tributaries, where during the dry season impala, waterbuck and other antelopes risk their life for a sip of life sustaining water. And the risk is considerable not only from the pride of 20-plus lion that lord over the savannah, but also from the cheetah that stalk the open grassland.

Visit Isimila Stone Age Site
After breakfast drive to Isimila stone age site and visit this historical site for two hours with short walking through the natural pillars. After this short tour you will proceed to Udzungwa Mountain NP. Udzungwa Mountain NP is one of Tanzania’s most outstanding, pristine, paradise and unique exciting wilderness mountains forested with greatest altitudinal range of forest. It is one of the thirty four “World Biodiversity Hotspot” and one of 200 WWF Eco Region of global critical importance.

Trekking Udzungwa Mountain NP

Drive to starting point and start walking and experience the natural beauty of the Park. Picnic lunch in the bush then proceed exploring the area including the wonderful Sanje waterfall which is 170m high. You can get a chance to swim in one of the waterfall plunge pools. You will walk up to 1600m above sea level with beautiful view of Kilombero valley. You will get the chance to see six species of monkeys include endemic species of Sanje crested mangabey and Iringa red colobus Monkey.

Udzungwa to Mikumi NP

After breakfast check out and launches the journey to Mikumi National Park this will take about two hours. Arrive for game drive in Mikumi NP. Animals commonly found Include lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, elephants and many more. Wild dog can come and go in this park. Over 300 species of birds have been observed in this park.

Start the day with early morning game drive. Enjoy the sunrise with morning game drive, this will take about two hours and a half and then drive back to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast drive back to Dar es Salaam with stopover on the way for the lunch. On arrival in Dar es Salaam you will be dropped off at the airport or at your hotel.
