Day 1: Kampala-Kibale Forest National Park Kampala-Kibale Forest National Park After early breakfast, Leave Kampala for a half day drive west via Mityana to Fort Portal through papyrus swamps and thick jungle of the Nile Delta to Kibale National Park just under the Ruwenzori Mountains as you pass though verdant countryside and traditional homesteads and farms. Day 2

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking & Nature Walk Chimpanzee Tracking & Nature Walk Start the day with an early breakfast. Drive to Kanyanchu Research Centre for briefing and then go for a fascinating experience with the Chimpanzees which starts at 08hr00. A half day search for chimpanzees and other primates including phoestes, Red-Colobuses, Blues, Red-tailed and grey-cheeked Mangabeys swinging through the dense forest and birds, butterflies and many small insects. The guide will provide detailed explanations on not only primates but also on all the forest’s fauna and flora, ensuring that your walk is informative and enjoyable for viewing bird life and primates in close quarters. Afternoon nature walk in Bigodi swamp an initiative of the local community. The swamp is known for its rich diversity of its birdlife including the rare shoebill stork.
