Day 1
Day 1: Entebbe Airport – Meet and Greet You will be picked by your guide driver from the airport. You will be transferred to the hotel, take this time to relax from the long flight and recruit energy for the next day safari adventure. You will spend the night at Airport View Guest House (3*) or 2 Friends Beach Hotel(4*) in Entebbe.-/-/-
Day 2
Kibale
Day 2: Kampala – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. In the morning you drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. After the stopover at the Rhino sanctuary, continue your journey to Kibale National Park. On your way you get to appreciate the green landscapes of the highlands of Uganda. You will reach Fort Portal in time for lunch. Have lunch in one of the town's big restaurants or Hotel and after proceed to Kibale National Park. Kibale National Park is about 320 km from Kampala. It's a dense Rain-forest located in Fort Portal western Uganda, 35 km from Fort Portal. It has a variety of primates dominated by Chimpanzees commonly known as chimps and a variety of monkey species. There is also bird watching of about 335 species, butterfly watching; the mammals include elephants, buffalo, giant forest hogs and half a dozen antelope species, all these can be viewed during forest walks, and night walks. A tour guide who explains to the visitor the different plant species, including Ugandan medicinal plants including the famous Sodom and Gomorrah tree, guides the nature walks. Day 3
Kibale
Day 3: Chimp tracking - Kibale National Park The Kibale Forest is scientifically one of central Africa’s best-known regions. Of the forest’s 11 primate species, most are well studied and many are accustomed to human observation. Following an early breakfast you walk into the rainforest in search of primates and other animals. Commonly seen species include red-tailed monkey, grey-cheeked mangabey, and both Red Colobus and Black-and-white Colobus Monkeys. As you hike the trails you listen for the distinctive pant-grunts that signal the presence of Chimpanzees. Chimps are abundant here and there is a high likelihood of your finding them. Black-and-white-casqued hornbill, great blue turaco, grey parrot and Narina trogon are a few of the many birds you may see. In the afternoon you explore a forested swamp looking for birds, primates and some of the magnificent butterflies which abound here. Later in the afternoon you return to your accommodations at Kibale Forest Camp(3*) or Primate Lodge(4*). B/L/D

Kibale | Queen Elizabeth
Day 4: Kibale National Park/Queen Elizabeth National Park Following a morning walk in the Kibale Forest you drive south to Queen Elizabeth National Park. As one of Uganda’s outstanding treasures, this wildlife sanctuary has been designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve for Humanity. The park’s 2000 sq km encompasses a remarkable variety of habitats including semi-deciduous tropical forests, acacia bush-land, open savannah, lakes, rivers and swamps. In addition to its famous tree-climbing Lions, Uganda kob, elephant, buffalo, hippo, baboons and chimpanzees, more than 500 species of birds have been listed for the park, making it a prime location for birdwatchers. Species recorded include the shoebill, black bee-eater, 11 types of kingfishers and a variety of falcons and eagles. Your accommodation, at Bush Lodge (3*) or Katara Safari Lodge(4*), commands splendid wonderful views! B/L/D
Day 5
Queen Elizabeth
Day 5: Game drives & boat cruise – Queen Elizabeth National Park Wake very early and have an early morning breakfast. At around 6:30am, go for a game drive on the northerly parts of the park along the Kasenyi track. This is the best time for opportunities of viewing the cats in action. Explore all the tracks in the park for different game like Elephants, Uganda Kobs, Buffaloes, Jackson heartbeest, Oribis, and many others. After lunch at 2.30, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga for solitary Buffalo, Hippo and other animals at the edge of the channel as they cool off. So many bird species including the migrant ones like the terns and gulls congregate here in large flocks. Dinner and overnight at Bush Lodge (3*) or Katara Safari Lodge (4*). B/L/D
Day 6
Bwindi Impenetrable | Queen Elizabeth
Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Depart from Queen Elizabeth and start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. We drive through a hilly region of neatly cultivated fields. Your accommodations for the next 2 nights are at Gorilla Valley Lodge (3*) or Silverback Lodge (4*), on the edge of the Bwindi Forest, where each cottage has its own en suite flush toilet and warm water shower. The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is a World Heritage Site and the opportunity to see endangered mountain gorillas is the highpoint of your exciting safari. B/L/D

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is a World Heritage Site and the opportunity to see endangered mountain gorillas is the highpoint of your exciting safari. Today after a very early breakfast, you report to the trekking assembly point for pre-trekking briefing. You visit a different group of your assigned habituated gorillas. The trek can take between one and six hours, at altitudes in excess in 7,500 feet and over rough terrain. Although the hike may be physically demanding, the anticipation of the experience is invigorating and the beauty of the forest and its inhabitants fascinating. When you encounter gorillas, your fatigue is quickly forgotten. Observing a wild gorilla family in its natural habitat and on its terms is considered by many naturalists to be the most profound wildlife experience in the world. Each strictly regulated 60-minute visit passes all too quickly and you must depart, leaving the gorillas to their fragile existence. After a visit with the gorillas and a picnic lunch in the forest each day, you return to Gorilla Valley Lodge (3*) or Silverback Lodge (4*) with unforgettable memories of a rare and wondrous experience. Day 8
Bwindi Impenetrable
Day 8: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Cyanika Border After breakfast, depart for Kigali. On arrival, do a city tour visiting the Kigali Genocide memorial, the Presidential Palace museum and the Kandt museum before overnight at Chez Lando Hotel (3*) or Milles Collines Hotel (4*). B/-/-
Day 9
Akagera
Day 9: Kigali-Akagera National Park After breakfast at 8:00 A.M, transfer to Akagera national Park and enjoy a full day game drive in the park before overnight at Akagera Game Lodge (3*) or Ruzizi Tented Lodge(4*). B/L/D
Day 10
Akagera
Day 10: Akagera national Park After breakfast, proceed with a half day game drive in the morning then enjoy a boat trip to Lake Shakani in the afternoon and an evening game drive. Overnight at Akagera game Lodge (3*) or Ruzizi Tented Lodge (4*). B/L/D
Day 11
Day 11: Kigali-Huye After breakfast, transfer to Huye with stopover at Nyanza King’s Palace, the residence of King Mutara III Rudahigwa and the Royal Palace that was traditionally built. The visit will continue to Butare Ethnographic Museum, formerly the National Museum of Rwanda. Overnight at Barthos Hotel (3*) or Mater Boni Consilii Hotel (3*). B/-/-
Day 12
Day 12: Huye-Bujumbura After breakfast, transfer to Bujumbura. On arrival, enjoy a city tour: Belvedere Climb offering a nice view of Bujumbura city; Independence hero monument; Musee Vivant, the Snake & Culture Museum; Explorers Memorial, a huge rock in the Suburbs of Bujumbura; commemorating the meeting between explorers Stanley and Livingstone; Sion Market/ Village market to get an idea of how our markets look like (optional). Transfer to the Hotel Overnight at Safari Gate Hotel (3*) or Club du Lac Tanganyika Hotel (4*). B/-/-

Day 13: Bujumbura-Gitega After breakfast at 8:00 A.M, enjoy a morning boat trip to Rusizi National Park to explore closer the hippos and birds in Lake Tanganyika then transfer to Gishora Drum sanctuary for a drum performance. Afterwards, proceed with Gitega city tour, the ancient colonial town before overnight at Tropitel Gitega Hotel (3*). B/-/- Day14: Gitega-Rutana After breakfast at 8:00 A.M, transfer to Rutana to visit the amazing Karera waterfalls, the Source of Nile and tea plantations before late transfer to Bujumbura. Day 15: Bujumbura-Airport After breakfast, drive to the handcrafts village “Chez Natalie” to buy some souvenirs for friends and family back home then transfer to the airport. B/-/- End of the tour.
