Gorilla Trekking in Rwanda

Arrive in Kigali, and after a tour of the Genocide Museum, your guide will drive you to the beautiful Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge near the headquarters of Volcanoes National Park. Spend your first day trekking among the gorillas of Volcanoes National Park with an expert guide and tracker. Very few travelers are lucky enough to be able to visit gorillas in their natural habitat, and the photographic opportunities available on this journey will astound you.

The next day, you can choose from participating in a second trek to visit another group of gorillas, a trek to Karisoke to visit the graves of Dian Fossey and Digit, or a golden monkey trek. The golden monkey trek is a relatively new opportunity that has only been available since 2003 and is a fascinating experience. After your day’s activities, you will head back to Kigali and overnight at the Kigali Serena before your departing flight.
