Itinerary

Day 1

Okavango Delta

Day 1 On arrival in Maun, you will be met by a Discover Africa representative and assisted to the waiting plane for your flight to Pom Pom Island in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Once you have checked into the lodge and had some time to freshen up, join the game drive that sets out late afternoon. Once you arrive back at the lodge, enjoy a lovely dinner before heading off to your luxury tent for the night. Includes: all meals and drinks (excluding premium drinks)

Day 2

Day 2 This morning starts off with a Mokoro (canoe)safari. Sail the channels of the Delta with a professional poler and guide, getting up close to the wildlife that have come out of the thick bush to have a drink from the river banks. These safari's will also enable you to see the smaller animals that one misses when in the vehicles, like the small Delta frogs. Once you get back to the lodge, the day is at leisure in and around the lodge. For those who enjoy it, fishing is also offered by the lodge Late in the afternoon, join the afternoon game drive again to search for the bigger wildlife that you may have missed the day before Includes: all meals and drinks (excluding premium drinks)

Day 3

Moremi | Okavango Delta

Day 3 After breakfast, you will be transferred by plane to Moremi Crossing, where you will stay for the next two nights. The tents are raised and have their own deck, so you could view game from the comforts of your tent. The lodge overlooks Chief's Island, which is known for it's game, so your time at this lodge will be something to remember for many years. Your day is at leisure and in the afternoon set out on the game activities that the lodge offers. Motor-boat cruises are organised in time to toast the unprecedented African sunsets while drifting on a lagoon in the middle of the Okavango Delta. Watch as the mutating colours are reflected in the smooth waters, disturbed only by dipping swallows or curious hippos. Includes: all meals and drinks (excluding premium drinks)

Day 4

Day 4 You can join a walking safari today that will take you through the wilderness of the Delta. There is an option for a picnic while on your walking safari, enabling you to spend the day out on safari. The other option is a Mokoro excursion that will let you immerse yourself in the daily life on the Delta, watching the wildlife like hippos and crocodiles. The bird life is some of the best in the area, and even if you aren't a keen birder, you'll leave a little more excited about birds than when you first arrived. Enjoy your last night in the Delta with a lovely dinner and your fellow travellers, who may have become fast friends. Includes: all meals and drinks (excluding premium drinks)
