9 Days Lemosho Route Climbing And Tarangire Safari Overview

This 9-day Tanzania adventure combines a gradual Kilimanjaro climb with a full day of wildlife viewing in Tarangire National Park. The mountain section follows the Lemosho Route, beginning in the forest before moving through moorland, alpine desert, and the high-altitude summit environment.

After completing the climb, you continue to Arusha and prepare for a one-day Tarangire safari. This gives you time to change from trekking to game viewing without making the trip unnecessarily complicated.

The package covers 8 days on the Lemosho Route and 1 day in Tarangire National Park. Depending on your travel plans, the journey can start or finish around Kilimanjaro Airport, Moshi, Arusha, or Zanzibar.

Why Choose This Tanzania Adventure?

A Longer Lemosho Trek

The eight-day mountain itinerary allows the journey to progress through several different environments before the summit attempt. The route begins in the rainforest and gradually reaches higher and drier landscapes.

Mountain and Safari in One Trip

Instead of choosing between a Kilimanjaro climb and a wildlife safari, this itinerary combines both. You spend most of the trip hiking before finishing with a dedicated day for game viewing.

Camping on Mount Kilimanjaro

Camping is part of the Lemosho trekking experience. Nights are spent at designated mountain camps while meals and boiled drinking water are provided during the climb.

Flexible Travel Arrangements

The trip can be organized for private travelers or group sharing. Airport transfers and additional accommodation before or after the main itinerary can also be arranged according to your plans.

This itinerary can suit travelers who want a longer Kilimanjaro trekking schedule followed by a short wildlife safari. It is available for private departures and group-sharing arrangements.

Solo travelers can also request a booking. The price for a solo arrangement should be confirmed based on the selected travel dates and arrangements.

Guide support is available in English, Spanish, German, and Italian.

Plan Your Kilimanjaro and Safari Holiday

A mountain trek followed by a Tarangire game drive creates a varied Tanzania itinerary without requiring a long safari extension. You move from rainforest trails and high-altitude camps to open wildlife landscapes within the same journey.

Check Availability for your preferred dates and ask about private or group-sharing options.

If you need airport transfers, additional nights in Moshi or Arusha, or accommodation before or after the main package, these arrangements can be included according to your travel plans.

Plan Your Trip early so the trekking and safari arrangements can be coordinated around your arrival and departure schedule.
