Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our safari guide. If your arrival time permits, enjoy a brief Kigali City Tour before embarking on a scenic drive to Akagera National Park, Rwanda's only Big Five safari destination.

Spend the day exploring Akagera's diverse landscapes on an exciting game drive in search of the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo, along with giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and abundant birdlife. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat safari on Lake Ihema, where hippos, crocodiles, and numerous waterbirds can be observed up close.

Enjoy a final morning game drive through the northern sector of Akagera before departing for the breathtaking Volcanoes National Park. Travel through Rwanda's spectacular countryside, known as the Land of a Thousand Hills, arriving at the foothills of the Virunga Volcanoes.

After an early morning briefing at Kinigi Park Headquarters, embark on the unforgettable adventure of tracking the endangered Mountain Gorillas in their natural habitat. Begin the day with an exciting Golden Monkey Trek through the bamboo forests of Volcanoes National Park.
