Your adventure begins the moment you land in Nairobi, with no time lost in the city. You are met at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and driven north into the dramatic landscapes of Kenya’s highlands, crossing the equator before descending into Samburu National Reserve—a land of dry riverbeds, doum palms, and rare northern species like the gerenuk and Grevy’s zebra.
Continue to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater oasis in the Great Rift Valley, where boat safaris and walking excursions bring you close to hippos and birdlife. Then it’s on to the Maasai Mara for three nights, home to the greatest concentration of wildlife on earth. Cross the border into Tanzania for two nights in the legendary Serengeti, following in the footsteps of the Great Migration.
