Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
Arrive in Tanzania, where you will be warmly welcomed by your safari representative and transferred to your accommodation. Take the rest of the day to relax and recover from your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short safari briefing and prepare for the exciting experiences ahead. Overnight in Arusha.

Day 2: Wildlife Safari
Tarangire
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park for a full day of wildlife exploration. Famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, Tarangire offers excellent opportunities for game viewing. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your game drive through its beautiful landscapes. In the evening, proceed to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Cultural Experience
After breakfast, enjoy a guided cultural tour of Mto wa Mbu, a vibrant and diverse community. Explore the local market, experience daily life, and discover fresh produce, spices, crafts, and local products. Visit artists to learn about traditional Makonde wood carving and art, then explore banana and rice farms and learn about traditional brewing methods. An optional local lunch is available. Later, continue to Lake Eyasi for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Hadzabe Cultural tour
Today is dedicated to an authentic cultural encounter with two of Tanzania’s fascinating communities. Visit the Hadzabe and learn about their traditional hunting and gathering lifestyle and their close relationship with nature. Continue to meet the Datoga, renowned for their traditional metalworking, craftsmanship, and cultural traditions. After the cultural experiences, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Wildlife scenic experience
Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. Explore the crater floor, home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, and many other species. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by breathtaking scenery before ascending the crater and returning to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Departure
After breakfast, enjoy your final morning in Tanzania before checking out and transferring to the airport for your onward flight. Depending on your departure time, there may be an opportunity for a relaxed morning in Karatu or Arusha.
