Itinerary
Day 1 – Arusha to Serengeti
Depart Arusha early in the morning and travel through the beautiful Ngorongoro highlands towards Serengeti National Park. Enter the Serengeti and begin your first game drive across its vast plains. Search for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and other wildlife as you continue towards your camp.

Day 2 – Explore the Serengeti
Spend a full day exploring Serengeti National Park with your private driver-guide. Search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffaloes and large herds of plains game. Your guide will select rewarding game-viewing areas according to wildlife movements and recent sightings. Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing your afternoon game drive.

Day 3 – Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Enjoy another morning of wildlife viewing in the Serengeti before gradually travelling towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This gives you another opportunity to search for wildlife while enjoying the changing landscapes between the Serengeti plains and Ngorongoro highlands.Arrive at your accommodation later in the day for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 – Ngorongoro Crater Safari
After an early breakfast, descend approximately 600 metres into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Explore the crater floor in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas and, with some luck, the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before ascending in the afternoon and continuing to your accommodation.

Day 5 – Fly to Zanzibar
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, meet your local representative and transfer to your hotel. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing after your safari or begin exploring the unique atmosphere of Zanzibar.

Day 6 – Stone Town & Spice Tour
Discover the fascinating history of Stone Town on a guided walking tour through its narrow streets, colourful markets and historic buildings. Later, visit a traditional spice farm where you can discover the tropical spices, herbs and fruits that earned Zanzibar its famous nickname, the Spice Island. After the tour, transfer to your beach accommodation

Day 7 – Zanzibar Beach Escape
Enjoy a full day relaxing on Zanzibar’s beautiful coast. Swim in the warm Indian Ocean, walk along the white-sand beach or simply relax at your hotel. Optional activities such as snorkeling, diving, kayaking or other marine experiences can be arranged according to your interests.

Day 8 – Zanzibar at Leisure
Spend another relaxing day enjoying Zanzibar at your own pace. You may simply enjoy the beach or choose an optional island experience such as a dhow cruise, snorkeling excursion or cultural tour. This free day gives you plenty of time to unwind before completing your Tanzania adventure.

Day 9 – Zanzibar Departure
Enjoy breakfast and your final moments on the island. Depending on your departure time, relax at the hotel before your scheduled transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your onward flight. Your safari and Zanzibar adventure ends with wonderful memories of Tanzania’s wildlife, landscapes and tropical coastline.
