Day 1 – Welcome to Tanzania

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Relax after your journey and prepare for your safari adventure. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore Arusha or simply enjoy the hotel facilities.

Day 2 – Tarangire Safari

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park. Explore landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees and search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests and predators. Enjoy a picnic lunch followed by further game viewing before continuing to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Into the Serengeti

Travel through the Ngorongoro highlands towards Serengeti National Park. Enjoy spectacular scenery along the journey before entering the famous Serengeti plains. Your first Serengeti game drive begins as you travel towards your tented camp, with opportunities to encounter wildlife along the way.

Day 4 – Serengeti Wildlife Safari

Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti with your private driver-guide. Search for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, cheetahs, leopards and large herds of plains game. Your guide will choose rewarding game-viewing areas according to wildlife movements and recent sightings.

Day 5 – Explore the Serengeti

Enjoy another full day in the Serengeti, giving you more time to explore without rushing. Depending on the season, your guide may focus on areas where migratory wildebeest and zebra herds are present. An optional early-morning hot-air balloon safari can also be arranged at additional cost.

Day 6 – Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Enjoy a final Serengeti game drive after breakfast before travelling towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Wildlife viewing continues along the journey as the vast plains gradually change into the beautiful landscapes of the Ngorongoro highlands. Arrive at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 – Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before ascending and continuing to your accommodation.

Day 8 – Fly to Zanzibar

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing and enjoying your first taste of island life.

Day 9 – Stone Town & Spice Tour

Discover Zanzibar’s cultural heritage on a guided exploration of historic Stone Town. Wander through narrow streets, markets and historic sites before visiting a traditional spice farm to see, smell and taste some of the tropical spices and fruits that made Zanzibar famous.

Day 10 – Zanzibar Beach Day

Today is dedicated to relaxation. Enjoy Zanzibar’s white-sand beaches and warm Indian Ocean waters at your own pace. Swim, relax by the beach or choose an optional snorkeling, diving or marine excursion.

Day 11 – Island at Leisure

Day 12 – Zanzibar Departure
