This is a 6 day 5 night journey that includes ground transfers and combines the thrill of seeing to Victoria Falls, a natural world wonder and experiencing its adventure activities. After 2 nights you will be leave the hustle and bustle and be transferred to Hwange National Park for a genuine safari experience in Zimbabwe's biggest park. Stay in luxurious accommodation in both areas.

Itinerary

Day 1

Victoria Falls | Zambezi

Day 1: Arrive at Victoria Falls Airport where you will be met by our shuttle bus for your short road transfer to Gorges Lodge on the edge of the Zambezi Gorge. After you have settled in you can explore the surroundings of the lodge and enjoy the breathtaking views from the lodge and see the Black eagles fly. Later enjoy a 3 course supper out under the stars (weather depending).

Day 2

Victoria Falls | Zambezi

Day 2: Today you will embark on your tour of sighting the majestic Victoria Falls and spend your day in the picturesque town. We recommend a lunch at the Stanley terrace at the Victoria Falls Hotel or have a light lunch at the Zambezi Rain forest after your tour. Around 16:00 you will be transferred to the river bank where you board the luxurious Zambezi Explorer for a sunset cruise with drinks and snacks on the Zambezi river. After your day in town, you will be transferred back to the lodge for dinner.

Day 3

Hwange

Day 3: After your breakfast you will be transferred to Halfway House by Hwange National Park. Here you will be collected by one of the Bomani 4 x 4 game drive vehicles for your transfer into Bomani Tented Lodge, which is a 1hr30 minutes drive into the wildlife concession. After you have settle into your tent you will have a late lunch. You may choose to go on a game drive later in the afternoon and have sundowners and canapés by one of the waterholes. Upon your return from the game drive and sun-downers, dinner will be served camp style.

Day 4

Hwange

Day 4: You start your day with an early morning game drive and walk in Hwange National Park’s acacia forests surrounding Ngamo Plains. Upon your return to Bomani, a hearty brunch will be served. Most likely you will enjoy a siesta after having gotten-up rather early. In the afternoon a high-tea will be served before commencing another game drive. Once back at the lodge you can refresh and have cocktails and snacks around the campfire with a 3 course dinner to follow in the main lodge area.

Day 5

Hwange

Day 5: Another magical early morning in the bush you may join the Bomani team and go for an all day trip into the park on our one of a kind ‘pump run’, with a picnic and siesta under the trees at Mfagazaan Pan. Imvelo’s trademark pump runs combine game viewing in remote areas of the park with practical hands-on conservation. You can assist (if you like) the guide with day-to-day maintenance at the borehole pumps which are the heartbeat of Hwange National Park and its wildlife. Leisurely afternoon game drive back to the lodge going from pan to pan, weaving our way between the throngs of jostling elephant that come pouring in for the fresh water. It makes for a fun, memorable and extremely rewarding day.

Day 6

Victoria Falls

Day 6: Today you can enjoy a morning village visit and school tour at Ngamo Village and a tour of the Imvelo Community projects for a couple of hours before returning back to the lodge for a breakfast. After breakfast you will be transferred back to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight. END OF YOUR JOURNEY in ZIMBABWE
