Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Tarangire
Your journey kicks off with a drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, a haven for elephants and famed for its massive baobab trees and seasonal wildlife concentrations around the Tarangire River. Explore the park’s varied habitats on a game drive, spotting everything from giraffes and buffaloes to lions and vibrant bird-life. Later in the afternoon, continue to the green highlands of Mto wa Mbu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, we head toward the Southern Serengeti and into the Ndutu region, located within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. These plains come alive during the migration season, with endless herds of wildebeest and zebras, and the predators that follow them. Enjoy a full afternoon game drive across this wildlife-rich region before settling into your camp in Ndutu for the night.

Ngorongoro Crater
Spend a full day exploring the Ndutu area, where the migration herds move across the open plains, often giving birth during the early months of the year. Alongside the dramatic sight of thousands of grazing animals, there’s excellent potential to see big cats, hyenas, jackals, and a wide variety of birds. After an action-packed day in the wild, return to your camp for a second overnight stay in Ndutu.

Rise early for a journey toward the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations. Enjoy a picnic lunch by a scenic lake before ascending the crater walls and returning to Mto wa Mbu for a relaxing evening.
